Full military honors were given for Army Private Shawn Falter of Homer.

This was the procession from Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Cortland.

On January 20th, Falter was killed along with three other US soldiers in Iraq.

They were captured by insurgents in Karbala, Iraq.

Falter was 25 years old, and a 1999 graduate of Homer High School, where he played varsity football and basketball.

Falter was stationed in Texas and was on his first deployment to Iraq.
