A Binghamton man is facing murder charges in Arizona after stabbing his girlfriend multiple times with a screwdriver.
Phoenix police say 39-year-old Dzevad Selimovic stabbed 27-year old Emina Redza in the face, throat, upper back and hands with a 6-inch serrated tire-repair screwdriver.
Authorities say the two dated and lived together in Binghamton, before she moved to Phoenix in early August.
Selimovic went to visit her last week but the couple reportedly had several arguments.
Hours after the stabbing, police say Selimovic turned himself in, and was taken into custody.
