A Catholic school in Binghamton celebrates its 60th birthday.
St. John the Evangelist School blew out the candles for the special occasion.
The school opened its doors back in 1949.
Students from kindergarten to 8th grade gathered with graduates of the St. John's.
They said they were excited to see the school flourishing.
Many of the alumni also spent time looking at photos from decades past.
Everyone enjoyed the cake after the ceremony.
