The church was built in 1896

Raymond Patrick was a member for years.

"This is where I grew up. Got baptized in this church, grew up in the church and youth fellowship... For sometime I was head of youth fellowship," said Patrick.

Patrick is also a fire fighter who responded to the scene on Walton-Sidney Road.
