What started as a domestic dispute, ends up with a pet alligator in police possession.
At about 4 o'clock this evening, Police were called to 118 Squires Avenue in Endicott for a domestic dispute involving a knife.
A man was arrested for possession of a wild animal as a pet.
The alligator is reportedly about 3 and half, to four feet long, and is now being held by the Department of Environmental Conservation.
The man, 23 year old David Wesser, also received a felony charge for tampering with evidence.
39 year old Tracy Wesser was also arrested for criminal mischief.
Endicott Police say 2 of their patrol cars were damaged during the arrest.
Including one broken car window.
The man and woman are being held at the Endicott Police station awaiting arraignment.
