Police Chase Ends In Town of Maine

A Binghamton man is arrested for leading police on a high-speed chase stretching 18 miles.

It ended on Airport Road in the Town of Maine at about 11 Thursday morning.

State Police say 25-year old Jason Saeman was pulled over on Interstate 81 South in the Town of Barker for speeding.

They say he was going 101 miles an hour.

As the trooper approached his car, Saeman sped off.

He took 81 to Route 17 West, then got off at Airport Road, where the car crashed into the guide rail near Upper Stella Ireland road.

Saeman faces multiple charges including speeding and unlawful fleeing a police officer.

He was arraigned and remanded to Broome County jail on 26-hundred dollars bail.
