Lockheed Still In Running For CSAR-X Contract

According to numerous news reports, that doesn't necessarily mean Lockheed and another bidder don't have another shot at the contract.
By not reopening the bidding, the air-force is excluding any new bidders.
Lockheed was one of 3 companies competing to build the Combat Search and Rescue Vehicle, or CSAR-X. It offered its version of the US 101 helicopter. The government's auditing arm found problems with how the Air Force awarded Boeing. The air force says it will address those concerns. Lockheed will only say it looks forward to learning more about this from the Air Force.
