It's located here on the Vestal Parkway, to help people hit by flooding in June and November. You can find clothes, furniture, appliances and other items. But the center is closing at the end of the month. Organizers say many flood victims are still cleaning up, and are just now realizing they need some help.
"It takes people a while to this all to set in, that they have to strip their carpets down to the concrete, or whatever problems they have with the flood or the storm," said Gail Covert.
Organizers are still looking for donations, especially tools and furniture.
The Flood Relief Center is located at 229 Vestal Parkway, at the Hart Electronics building. You can stop by Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 10 a-m and 3 p-m. But it closes for good Saturday March 31st.
