Broome County Sheriff's Office makes Heroin Arrest

An Endicott man is arrested for possessing more than $15,000 worth of heroin.

The Broome County Sheriff's Office arrested 22 year-old Joshua Swackhammer following a traffic stop on Moore Avenue in the Town of Union.

Deputies found he had 491 packets of heroin.

Swackhammer was also carrying $1,000 cash.

He's charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

He is being held in the Broome County jail without bail pending court action.
