Police Respond to Owego KFC

A search is underway for a black male after a reported armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Owego Saturday night.

The incident happened at Kentucky Fried Chicken on 17C in Owego around 8:45 p.m.

Police are looking for a black male, in his late-20s to early-30s.

He is around 5'8" - 5'10" tall with a thin build.

The subject is described as wearing a white hooded shirt and jeans with possible decals on both items of clothing.

He was holding a black handgun and escaped on foot, possibly entering a vehicle near the scene.

Owego Police, Tioga County Sheriffs, and state police all responded to the scene.
