The opening of an auditorium in Vestal wraps up the school district's multi-million-dollar capital improvement project.
A dedication ceremony was held tonight in the new African Road Auditorium, which seats 12-hundred people.
There were performances by several local music groups.
The facility is part of a 54-million-dollar district-wide project that started in 2002, to bring facilities up to standards.
"We're finally done with everything, and it's a magnificent facility that students will certainly and benefit from in years to come," says Kim Myers, Board President of the Vestal Central School District.
The capital project also included extensive renovations to the high school and 6 other buildings in the district.
