Police Week Breakfast

For 25 years local police have joined forces for at Police Memorial Week in the Southern Tier.

They observe their own week to make sure local officers are recognized, and not forgotten.

Events continued today with this Police Memorial Breakfast at the Owego Treadway.

" This week gives us a chance to reflect on friendships, as well as to remember brothers and sisters killed in the line of duty.

"to remember and learn from the experiences of other police officers" said Sgt Dan Correll of the Binghamton Police Department

You can learn more about what your local police do by stopping at displays they will set up at the Oakdale Mall this week.

That's on Friday and Saturday.
