Binghamton West Side Clean-Up Day

A WESTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP, will be held Saturday May 12, 2007. The three Westside Council Members - Councilman Robert Weslar, 2nd District; Councilwoman Teri Rennia, 3rd District; and Councilman Martin Gerchman, 4th District, are working together to recruit individuals, teams and community groups from throughout the Westside to work together to clean up the beautiful West Side.

The clean up will begin on Main Street in front of Binghamton High School at 9AM. Garbage bags and gloves will supplied. People may bring brooms, dustpans, etc. Participants will pick up trash on selected blocks with all participants ending up at Recreation Park at 12PM. Refreshments will be served as a thank you to all who participate.
