Binghamton East- Side Motor Vehicle Crash

An accident in Binghamton leads to criminal charges.

And police are still looking for one suspect.

Just before noon a car collided with a dump truck at Abbott Street and Broad Avenue.

Police say the car was stolen, the two people inside the car ran off.

The truck driver chased them, but told police he stopped when one man showed a gun.

Police later caught one of the suspects on foot.

He's 24-year-old Edward Armistead of Brooklyn.

He's charged with running a stop sign, leaving the scene and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Police are still searching for the passenger of the car.
