Some young people show off their talent, all in memory of a girl who died 5 years ago.

The Endicott Performing Arts Center held this memorial showcase tonight.

It featured lots of young talent, from singers to dancers.

The proceeds from the event benefit the Devin Spears Scholarship Fund.

Devin and her mom Valerie were shot to death in their Binghamton home 5 years ago.

Devin loved to perform and was part of the Endicott performing arts center's kids workshop.

Tonight's event helped keep her memory alive.

"Devin was a positive individual, and so was her mom, and to see the kids come together to do this memorial showcase is a very positive thing," said EPAC Executive Director Lou Ligouri.

Devin's scholarship fund helps out local high school seniors going into the arts.

If you couldn't make it tonight, but still want to help, send donations to the Endicott performing arts center, 102 Washington Ave, in Endicott, 13760.
