The glider landed in the river around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon near Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott.

Here, it can be seen in the river near the Endicott Sewage Treatment Plant.

This is where it was towed, and then pulled out of the water.

Endicott Fire Personnel say a pilot and passenger were on board, but neither suffered any serious injury.

Their identities are not known at this time.

Endicott Firefighters also say as a tow plane was pulling the glider into the air on takeoff, it appears the glider did not get high enough, and landed in the river.
