The strong storms came quickly, and managed to cause some damage in the area.

Here in Broome County, emergency crews responded to a few calls of trees and power lines down.

Earlier this evening, firefighters were on Fairview Street in Johnson City.

The storm came around 8:30 p.m., and brought down these power lines.

NYSEG crews were on their way to the scene.

And NYSEG says the storm knocked out power to around 100 people in Broome County.

About 50 customers lost power in Chenango Bridge.

Tioga, Otsego and Delaware counties had no damage to report.

Chenango County had one report of a tree falling on power lines.
