A fire ripped through the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Walton tonight.
The Fire Chief says it happened around 5:30 PM inside the horse barn.
About 35 firefighters battled the blaze for about 2 hours, and area departments were on standby for mutual aid.
The fire did not spread to any surrounding structures.
The barn is considered a loss and the cause is still under investigation.
The chief says the building and land is owned by the Delaware Valley Agricultural Society.
The County Fair is held at the Fairgrounds every year.
