Apalachin Pharmacy Robbed.

The Tioga County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, 06-11-07, at approximately 7:00 PM at the Apalachin Pharmacy on Rte 434 in Apalachin, NY. The suspect entered the pharmacy brandishing a handgun and demanded methadone from the pharmacist. He then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of methadone.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 20 – 26 years old, approximately 5’4” – 5’6” tall, slender athletic build, with brown hair and military style haircut. He was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve grey shirt and black shoes or work boots.

At this time, the Tioga County Sheriff’s office is seeking information from anyone who may have been traveling on State Route 17 between 6:50 PM and 7:10 PM near the Millennium Bridge and exit 66 who may have seen this person or suspicious vehicles in the area.
