The Office of Economic Development and the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (PAST) are hosting a regional historic development conference Thursday, June 14th from 9:45am to 4:15pm in the Decker Community Room at the Broome County Public Library. The conference will feature some of the State's foremost authorities - architects, preservationists, financial and building code experts - speaking on center city restoration and redevelopment efforts with a special focus on developing lesser-used upper floors of many historic 19th century buildings. There will be 4:00pm press conference announcing a $7,500 grant the City is receiving from the Preservation League of New York State.
