Pennsylvania State Police arrested 36 year old Michael Ray Walter of Little Meadow last week.
Troopers say Walter admitted to sexual offenses with the child in a written statement.
The child is currently under the age of 13.
State Police charged Walter with Rape, Involuntary Sexual Intercourse, and Aggravated Indecent Assault of a child.
He waived a preliminary hearing Monday at the Susquehanna County courthouse in Montrose and remains in the county prison.
