The State labor department is reminding those filing for unemployment benefits, to use an online tool.
Sundays and Mondays are the busiest days for claiming benefits.
Which is why the state is urging people to use the on-line calculator.
The easy-to-use tool helps people determine the length of time they can receive unemployment.
To use it, log onto the state's labor website, www.labor.ny.gov, and look for the Benefits Calculator.
More than 600-thousand people across the state file for benefits every week.
