Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Arrests have been made, and hundreds of dollars worth of methamphetamine seized in the Town of Union.

Several firearms and a meth lab were discovered by police at 573 Hooper Road yesterday where three men had been manufacturing illegal drugs.

More evidence was found at 2355 State Route 17C in Barton, as well as a storage facility on Route 26

25-year-old Edward Bailey of the Town of Union was arrested.

Along with David Coffey, age 29 of Binghamton, and James Mills, age 45 of Chenango Forks.

"The significance of the investigation is that meth is still in the area, although we've seen a decrease in meth labs over the last several years, it is still prevalent," said Lieutenant Patrick Garey of the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.

Further charges are pending.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are anticipated.
