*AT 425 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE
HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM LISLE TO NANTICOKE TO CANDOR TOWAVERLY...AND MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
LITCHFIELD...WHITNEY POINT AND NEWARK VALLEY AT 435 PM EDT...
TIOGA CENTER AND LOUNSBERRY AT 440 PM EDT...
SMITHVILLE FLATS...OWEGO AND NICHOLS AT 445 PM EDT... MAINE AT 450 PM EDT...
UNION CENTER AT 500 PM EDT...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING MEANS THAT SEVERE WEATHER IS OCCURRING
OR IS IMMINENT. WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...HAIL THREE-QUARTERS
OF AN INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING ARE ALL LIKELY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS SEVERE STORM
MOVE TO SAFE SHELTER NOW.
