A two-car crash backs up traffic on Route 17 Saturday afternoon.

It happened near the airport road exit on 17 East in the Town of Dickinson.

Broome County Sheriffs say a Chrysler Sebring Convertible flipped over and hit the cement median.

The driver, a 23-year-old Binghamton woman whose name is not being released yet, was taken to Wilson Hospital with injuries.

Broome Sheriffs say alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Tickets are expected to be issued to the woman driving.

A Chrysler minivan was also involved in the crash, no one in that vehicle was injured.

Both the eastbound and westbound side of 17 were cut down to one travel lane.

Broome Sheriffs, Johnson City and State Police and the Department of Transportation all responded.
