Drugs and Weapons Arrest in Johnson City

The Broome County Special Investigations Task Force searched a home last night at 241 Saint Charles Street.

They seized 178 packets of heroin, almost 4 thousand dollars in cash, and 2 digital scales.

They also found three guns, two were loaded.
A month long investigation led up to the search.

Both arrested suspects are from Brooklyn.
27 year old Kevin Marrero and 26 year old Mayra Correa are charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and of a Controlled Substance.

They were arraigned in Johnson City Village Court and sent to the Broome County Jail.
