Dozens of plane lovers packed this airport for a one of a kind airshow.
It doesn't look like much of an airport, but planes have been flying in and out of it all day.
Radio controlled model planes that is.
Organizers say this event has something for everyone.
"Some flight demonstrations. I'm going to be flying a percision aerobatic airplane showing the extreme of percision and what we do from a competition standpoint. We'll have some fun fly airplanes that are normal everyday Sunday flyers as we refer to them. We'll have pylon racers. We've got a couple of electrics," said Terry Terrenoire with the Aeroguidance Society.
One of the purposes of this airshow is to get people interested in model airplanes.
But the hobby can be quite expensive.
These planes can range anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars up to 10 thousand.
While the planes can be expensive, it's a hobby many people have fun at.
These kids were given a chance to fly one of the model planes, after taking a quick course in flying.
For those who didn't want to fly, there was plenty to come and see.
"I want to see a helicopter...one of those model helicopters fly, that's one of the things I want to see," said Andrew Burlingame of Binghamton.
These pilots say you don't need nerve.
Just a love of flying.
