People in Binghamton were having their own Summer celebration.
St. Cyril's Parish hosted its Summer Fest behind the church on Clinton Street.
It's the event's 11th year.
Dozens of people waited in long lines for some ethnic foods, or barbecue chicken.
There were prizes for adults and lots of games for the children.
Live music entertained people who wanted to get up and dance.
Pastor George Sandor says an event like this is a great way to celebrate the close- knit parish.
"It's really a celebration of the parish ethnic heritage. The Slavic background and also a way of getting the people together to just have a good time," Sandor said.
The Summer Fest also included bake sales and a cash prize raffle.
