Elmira, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Trial begins for a man accused of setting a fire that killed two people in Elmira.

28 year old Jason Cade is charged with arson and two counts of second degree murder in Chemung County.

Prosecutors say last July, Cade and 23 year old Joshua Morgan of Southport set fire to a home on Caldwell Avenue in Elmira.

Lawrence Baker Senior and his wife Wendy were killed in the blaze.

Morgan pled guilty to an arson charge last October.

Prosecutors would not say if Morgan would testify against Cade.

The trial is expected to last a week.

If convicted, Cade could face 25 years to life in prison.
