Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Two men are in jail after robbing Dunkin Donuts on Park Street in Owego at gunpoint.

It happened around 5 a.m. Sunday at the Dunkin Donuts on Park Street in Owego.

Owego Police say a man entered the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money.

The clerk gave him the cash and called police.

Tioga County Sheriff deputies found two suspects walking together less than a quarter mile away.

"My officer was there within a minute and in fact drove past the suspects on his way there and was able to direct the sheriff's department, who came to assist, to where the subjects were located and they apprehended them for us," said Sgt. Chuck Hogancamp of the Owego Police Dept.

20-year-old Dallas Cappelli and 19-year-old Dustin Dunbar, both of Owego, are being held in Tioga County Jail, charged with robbery.

Their bail is set at $10,000 each.

The investigation continues.
