A Binghamton man is arrested after police catch him with heroin during a traffic stop.
The Broome County Special Investigations Task Force say officers pulled over 42-year-old Kevin Eck Wednesday in the City of Binghamton. They served a search warrant, and found 30 bags of heroin and about $1,500 in his car.
Eck is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony.
The Task Force also arrested 27-year-old Rodney McPherson of Binghamton.
Officers served a search warrant on McPherson and found him carrying cocaine packaged for sale and a small amount of cash.
He's also charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Both men were arraigned in City of Binghamton court and are being held at the Broome County Sheriff's Correctional Facility.
