Man Arrested After Bank Robbery

A man is arrested for robbing a bank in the Town of Chenango.

The Broome County Sheriff's Office arrested 43-year-old Edward Greco of the Bronx.

He's charged with 1st-degree robbery.

It happened around 8 this morning, at the NBT Bank on Upper Front Street.

The Broome County Sheriff's Office says Greco walked in and demanded money.

He indicated he had a weapon, but police never found one.

Police say Greco left with the cash on foot, and was arrested near the bank.

No one was injured.
