Suspect Arrested in Binghamton

An Apalachin man is arrested in connection with an early morning stabbing in Binghamton.

Detectives arrested 26 year old Oleg Shelestovsky.

Around 3 Monday morning, Shelestovsky stabbed another man with a folded pocketknife at 26 High Street.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening wounds at Binghamton General Hospital.

Shelestovsky is charged with robbery.

He was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and is in Broome County Jail.
