Greater Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Feed the hungry in our area by putting non-perishables in your mailbox Saturday.
Letter carriers will be collecting non-perishable food donations along their routes.
Food collected during the "Stamp Out Hunger" event will go to CHOW and other local food banks.
This is the 18th year for the nation-wide event, which has become the largest one-day food drive in the country.
All you have to do is place any non-perishable in your mailbox on Saturday, May 8th.
Your U.S. Postal Service letter carrier will deliver it to the food bank or pantry.
