Walton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Village of Walton Police Department was called to 32 Union Street in the Village just before 10pm Sunday night.
Officers arrived to find 65 year-old Daisy Schultz of Walton, and 74 year-old Richard Utter of Norwich dead in the apartment.
Police say Schultz was shot several times. Her murder was ruled a homicide. nvestigators say Utter then shot himself.
The investigation is continuing.
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
