Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) State Police recover the body of a man who jumped into the Susquehanna River to escape police.
Divers found the body in the water, about 100 yards away from the Vestal Main Street bridge .
Vestal Police identified the man as 41 year old Michael O'Brien of Vestal.
Early Sunday morning, police spotted a stolen car.
The driver fled from police when officers tried to pull him over.
He got to Main Street, crashed through construction barriers and into a construction vehicle.
He then ran onto the bridge, and jumped into the river.
