Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's the last party for Binghamton University seniors before graduating this weekend.

Many of them took to the streets Thursday to celebrate the annual pub crawl.

Seniors travel from Main Street to State Street, stopping at several bars along the way.

Some sport handmade tee-shirts as well as their own mugs.

For many, it's the last time to socialize with their friends they've made here before "real life" begins.

"I'm excited because I'm going to graduate school. I am an educator. Are you kidding me? This is it!" exclaimed senior Jasmine Huancayo.

"I got here at like 2:00, but some people are really hard core and come at 11:00 AM. And you can stay out all night until the bars close down," said student Holly Caram.

City officials, bar owners, police and students have been working together to make sure Pub Crawl remains a safe event.

Binghamton Police patrolled the route to keep the celebrating under control. They say there were nine arrests, but mostly for minor issues like disorderly conduct.
