Event Description
Students from 12 area school districts have been chosen to participate in this year’s BROOME COUNTY MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION ALL-COUNTY MUSIC FESTIVAL II. Participants in grades 10-12 Orchestra, 5-6 Chorus, and 7-9 Band were chosen based upon audition and teacher recommendation.
The festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12, 2011. Students will rehearse on both days and the festival will close on Saturday, March 12, 2011 with a 3:00 p.m. public performance to be held in the Anderson Center, Binghamton University. The guest conductors for this festival are: 5th and 6th Grade Chorus- Dr. Emily Mason, 7th-9th Grade Band- Robin Linaberry, 10th-12th Grade Orchestra- Cayenna Ponchione.
Tickets are available at the door at the following prices:
Adult -$5.00; Child-$4.00; Senior-$4.00; Maximum family cost-$15.00
