On May 28th, the Chenango County Grange will be celebrating one of our areas abundant... Vegetables??? That's right, were holding our first (hopefully annual) Rhubarb festival to celebrate the many uses of this versatile plant.

Join us on May 28th from 10am to 3pm at the Chenango County Grange Hall (at the intersection of CR-32 and CR-32A/Hale Street Ext) in Norwich for recipe samples, pies, cookbooks and a Rhubarb Derby.

What is a Rhubarb Derby? Well, you've heard of the Pinewood Derby, right? A Rhubarb Derby is basically the same except that instead of using pine wood for the car body, we will (attempt to) use Rhubarb!
