Come to the small town of Richford, NY, north of Newark Valley at the crossroads of Rte 79 and Rte 38, on September 17, 2011, from 9-4 for the 19th annual Richford Potato Festival. Pancake breakfast at fire dept. 8-11 a.m., food and entertainment at the church, potato donuts at the community hall, and activities at the graded school include Potato Princess/Richford Tater Tot pageant, bounce houses, games, coloring contests, quilt show, historic exhibits, mashed potato eating contest, potato icecream, "Foxey Brown" book signing, and lots more!
