About the Artist:
Brian is a graduate of the Bachelor’s of Fine Arts program at SUNY Cortland. His work has previously been featured on websites such as Lost at E Minor, and Trend Hunter. He was a featured photographer on The Focus project, as well as one of the State University of New York’s Artists of the Week.
In his exhibition, A Transgressive Look at Beauty, Brian has explored the transience of human accomplishments and the inherent beauty in the inevitable destruction of the ideal. Layering and reconstructing the images with varying perspectives and exposures creates a fractured sense within the scene, presenting beauty and decay on a grand and wonderful scale.
