The Jewish Federation of Greater Binghamton will host the 92Y Live program “Madeleine Albright in Conversation with Christiane Amanpour." The telecast was previously recorded from the 92nd Street Y in New York City earlier in May. The cost to attend is $8 for the general public or $5 for Federation members. Doors will open at 7:15 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

In her new and most personal book, “Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948,” former Secretary of State Dr. Madeleine Albright looks at her family’s experiences before, during and after World War II. In conversation with Christiane Amanpour, who is the global affairs anchor of ABC News as well as an anchor and chief international correspondent at CNN, Albright will discuss not only her own story, but her interviews with contemporaries and newly available documents about the complex events that occurred in Europe.
