Artist Statement
“Jimi Hendrix has always been a huge personal and professional influence on me, regardless of whether his music was in fashion or not through the years. In fact, I became a musician because of him and his drummer, and a few others. He is recurrent theme in my artwork as well. Once a year or so, I feel compelled to pay homage to my old friend with a visual offering. Of course, he was on the turntable when I drew these, so I hope you enjoy this musical artwork by Jimi & Me.”
