Southern Tier workers who know or suspect their illness, injury, or pain is job-related can learn more about their options at a panel discussion, free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Occupational Health Clinical Center (OHCC) of Upstate Medical University. The panel features several of the state's leading workplace safety and health advocates and will include Michael Lax, M.D., board-certified in occupational medicine; Edwin Ruff, Workers' Compensation Board advocate for injured workers; Jacque Millar, a nurse practitioner who focuses on workers' illness and harmful workplace exposures; and Peter Littman, an Ithaca attorney experienced in representing injured workers.
