Event Description
The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center will have a ServSafe Certification Program on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13, 2013. The class will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30 am at SCCTC. You must attend both classes. The registration fee of $150.00, includes all materials and testing fees. The ServSafe 15 hour class will consist of 7 hours of documented home study and 8 hours of on-site instruction. The ServSafe Program was developed for supervisors, managers, chefs and employees in food establishments. After completing this program, the participant will have a complete understanding of how to safely purchase, receive, store and serve food. A state examination is given after completing the 15 hours of study. This program meets the requirements for PA Food Code, Title 7 Dept. of Agriculture Mandatory Compliance. Applicants must call Mrs. Donna Evans-Schwartz at 570-278-9229 ext. 6671 for a pre-study appointment and to pick up your course book before Monday, March 4, 2013.
