Newark Valley High School presents “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown,” February 22-23, 2013 at 7:00pm in the Jewel Griffith Auditorium at the Newark Valley High School, 68 Wilson Creek Road, Newark Valley, NY.

Based on the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, the musical comedy brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and the rest of the gang to life, expanding the classic source material with songs such as “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” “My New Philosophy,” “Happiness” and “Suppertime.” First produced off-Broadway in 1967, the book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner (with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa), provide particularly meaningful material for young performers. This production, which is suitable for all ages, includes a cast of 30 students in grades 8-12.

General seating; tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors Citizens. You can purchase tickets in advance from one of our actors or at the door the nights of the performances.
