Event Description
The Carnival of Love Foundation will host its 6th Annual Carnival of Love Fundraiser at Central Lounge in Astoria, New York, to benefit children with cancer. Central Lounge will transform into a Tropical Rainforest complete with themed decor, special costumed performers, live animal entertainment and delightful surprises including festive activities, snacks and favors throughout the night.
Our 2013 Carnival of Love® Fundraising goals:
To promote a variety of healing activities such as art, music, yoga, movement and energy therapies, among others, that improve the emotional well being of children undergoing cancer treatments and to financially assist families suffering through the economic and emotional upheaval of caring for their ailing youth.
Through our contributions, we intend to offer financial relief to families enduring pediatric cancer, in addition to supporting various healing and movement activities that have the potential to lift a child’s spirit, inspire their creativity, imagination and self expression, rekindle laughter and joy, restore their energy and increase their positive outlook; all critical elements to a speedy recovery.
