The full scope of the Traditions Resort & Casino and economic revitalization plan will be on display during a community open house from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20th at the Traditions ballroom.
“From our outreach into the community, through our website and our social media pages, we’re getting a lot of interest, questions and words of support from the entire region,” said Bill Walsh. The Walsh Family owns Traditions at the Glen Resort and Conference Center; they have announced plans to apply for the Southern Tier’s Class III gaming license.
Traditions Resort & Casino will create more than 1,500 jobs in the Southern Tier, and will include a casino, world-class hotel, entertainment venue, golf course, resort, and conference center. Information about the proposal and knowledge about the process by which the license will be awarded will be available to the public at the open house event.
Complimentary refreshments will be available, as will opportunities to sign up for newsletters and mailing lists to keep informed on the Traditions project.
Those from the public who wish to attend are asked to RSVP with Traditions by calling (607) 797-2381.
