The internet allows us to do and see things that were once impossible. The website that I want to show you today allows you to tour the world via live web cams. Visitors can see what’s happening in Times Square, live pictures from the beaches in Miami, or travel around the world to see Tokyo live. The website is a Webby Award winner, viewed by fans from 192 countries around the globe and ranks among the top 1% of all websites.

Check out EarthCam.com . The site is an amazing place to see views from around the world. And the way it works is simple. There is a search bar at the top of the screen where you can search for relevant terms. A search for “Florida” pulls up dozens of webcams where you can view what’s happening on the beaches or in the shopping districts down town. You can watch the swimmers in the surf, or check out a location for your next vacation. And, like so much of the web, users can also take part. If your website has a webcam, submit it to EarthCam.com, and they’ll add a link so that users can find your camera as well.

If you’re headed for a vacation, or just want to check out live images of exotic locations, head over to EarthCam.com and see what you can find.
