There's one teacher at WA Olmstead Elementary in Harpurville that really supports her students.

She takes time in and out of the classroom to show the kids they can do anything if they put their mind to it.

Ms. Sue Eilenburg is an AIS teacher at WA Olmsted Elementary.

She works one-on-one teaching students how to read.

She also comes into the classroom to give lessons.

"She's fun and we get to do a lot of fun stuff," says Tienna Avery of WA Olmsted Elementary.

But there's a twist to this week's story.

Our Educator of the week inspired Francine Belveg, teaching her how to read back in 1988.

Now Ms. Belveg is all grown up, with a 3rd grade classroom of her own.

Working side by side with the woman she says, gave her the confidence she needed to succeed.

"Every morning, ever day she lights up my day and every day I leave I think about her and how she got me through my tough years," says Belveg.

Ms Eilenburg doesn't like to be in the spotlight, she feels her place is in the classroom.

But Ms. Belveg has a lot to say about her mentor.

"She has made me shine, I love what I do, and that is due to her presence, whether she will be on camera or not, she will always be in my spotlight," says Belveg.

And Ms. Eilenburg is still helping students find their own spot light.

Just last week she went to Justin Mallory's football game to watch him play.

"Did she say anything to you after the game?" asks Jessica.

"Yeah, she said good job!" says Mallory.

"If somebody's gonna shine, it's gonna be her students and not herself," says Belveg.

Well your students are shining Ms. Eilenburg.
